Jeggings!!

I love jeggings, they suit my body type much better than jeans. I haven't got a huge amount of jeggings so was happy to find this perfect grey pair at Sportsgirl, half price at $40! I love them and they are not spray on so I could get a pair of stockings under them in Winter to layer against the cold! Today I wore my new ASOS shoes that I thought were coral but now it's quite clear they are neon red - quite a statement shoe!

Animal print - a basic?

I have been looking for some pull over sweaters for work to layer over my collared shirts in winter.  I have been looking at expensive options but they are just way out of my budget at the moment.  I was walking past Temt that I have not been into for ages and was going to keep walking, but I had time to kill so I had quick looksie and found two perfectly competent sweaters to layer over my work tops - and they were $14.95 each yaY!  I also found an massively warm looking animal print cardigan that was half price at $20 - I have been looking for something like that for ages, I had loved this trench that I had seen a blogger wear: http://www.witchery.com.au/her/jackets-coats/ocelot-print-soft-trench-1?color=BLACK/BROWN, but a) I didn't need another coat and b) I didn't love love it  - that cardigan is perfect!  Received my ASOS order in record time - have posted reviews under the pics.  Forgot to do an outfit pic today, so busy busy!

ASOS - Oasis polka dot jumper, I bought this in small because it looks oversized in the pic - and it is oversized and looks exactly like the pic.  One of things I love about ASOS is how accurate their pics and catwalk videos are in portraying the items.  I will probably need to layer collared shirts or big scarves around the neck to break up the gap around the collar area.

ASOS grey sweater with elbow heart patch - I heart this sweater, it is thing but perfect size.

look exactly like picture and fit perfectly!

look exactly like picture and fit perfectly!

This jersey green skirt is super cute and I can't wait to wear it with thick tights under it to brighten up a dreary Winter day!  No zipper either which makes life easier.

Cue the bargain!

After my great haul of Cue clothing last year at a random Myers, I have been on the lookout for more random bargains. Myers are having a stocktake sale and I found another bargain, so worth hunting then out as the skirt I bought was $179 reduced to $53!! And it was exactly the style I love as well yay. Today it was a magnificent Autumn day, it is like Winter will never come, fingers crossed lol.

ASOS and checking out

ASOS and I need to spend some time apart, but before we properly broke up they sent me a 20% discount code. I took that opportunity to make a clean break so I checked my saved bag out - which was an impressive bag but with the discount it was $170. I will miss you ASOS but I need too concentrate on other things in my life right now ;-p. So I got two pairs of work shoes, cute heart patch jumper and another polka dot jumper, skater skirt to layer thick tights under for brightening up the colour of Winter and a pair of gloves. I think I am right for gloves now after this last pair.

Stalking

18mths ago I bought a dress from ASOS that was only about $25 and it was beautiful. I loved it and at the time they had a couple of different version on sale, but I thought one was enough. Until I wore it and loved it and then stalked more on ASOS but there was never any ever again. So when I sold the dress in eBay I created a saved search for that label. It has taken about 6mths but finally I found one and it was still relatively cheap $35. This was was a successful online shopping week, my grey skirt from ASOS arrived that was only $12 and I love it and stalked polyvore and found a perfect outfit combo for it. And today my $14 polka dot blouse arrived and its beautiful and great quality and new with tags and it turns out it is an ASOS top! Today I pulled put my old Sass and Bide 'rabbit boy' jeans, I used to live in these and they are nearly ten years old and in perfect condition, paired it with my ASOS sparrow blouse - together (with long hair and glasses) they were a bit to 'seventies' I think lol. Also wore my white ZU pointy shoes I bought about the same time as the rabbit boys, I highly recommend ZU all my shoes from there have been amazing quality.

who's idea was it to open up a Zara near me!!!

After not being impressed with Zara the first time I went in there and went on with my merry life not fussed about it, now I am Zara obsessed.  As evidenced by the amount of cheap Zara I have been buying from Ebay....  I popped in for a look in the real life store and walked out with a heart shirt I wanted last time and a must have striped knit.  It was reasonably priced - $65 for both, but I had to put back and walk past a lot more that I wanted. I wore my Zara knit with my $15 pink Kmart jeans, the jeans are not great quality but for $15 they have done quite well! Also pulled out my cocoon sequin Mimco bag that rarely gets an outing, poor thing lol.

Lust have it April Box

This is my third Lust have it box. Unfortunately it will also be my last. The boxes and content are fine, but I just don't use enough beauty products and my at room drawers are brimming over with the clutter of beauty products. The best thing in this months box is the lint free nail wipes. It drives me crazy when I am applying nail polish and come across nail wipe fluff still on my nails! I will also miss the boxes, they have been really useful storing my baby's clips in them! Today I got to wear my Zara 'dupe' blazer I got from EBay. It is definitely a light summer blazer and I still love it! Also got to wear my blue velvet Dotti jeans I bought for $13, love these but as suspected they attract alot of fluff! My little G was styling it up today in her $12 Kmart knit dress and her Target $5 candy striped coat.

Pinning the fur

I bought another fur vest. I know, I know but it super cute and completely different from my other one! It was $60 and it is a Zara vest, I am still waiting for arrive in the mail so fingers crossed I love it!  When I bought it I thought oh this will go with everything and of course now I am panicking lol. Am pinning away on Pinterest all my outfit ideas. Thank god for the blogger world who can help with outfits that are outside your comfort zone: http://www.lenapenteado.com/2013/02/how-to-wear-a-fur-vest-look-of-the-week/. Today was a little bit chilly, I think it is safe to say Winter is on its way!  My trusty boots I have had forever and got from Zu - but they have to be reheeled after today boooo!  Sportsgirl studded tights and a Dotti skirt I got for $10 on a work trip to Perth  - I love that some of my clothes have such great memories around them :-).

presents from China!

Today my blazer from Ebay arrived!! It was actually pretty quick considering it came such a long way, I bought it on the 5th of April so it took two weeks to get here!  I love it, it was $15.99 such a bargain - it has a Zara label and tags even though it was marketed on Ebay only as a 'celebrity blazer'.  And there are tons and tons of exactly the same blazers priced all over the place from $40 up to $100.  I guess it always pays to be wary of copies on ebay, this blazer being the best example.  $15.99 is a steal and I am really happy with its quality so promptly bought one in nearly every colour!!  Today I dressed in Autumn colours, brown cue pencil skirt and green Valley girl vest and cardigan with cotton on yellow scarf!  During my recent cull I stumbled upon an old pair of Django and Juliet flats that were my favourite ones back in the day, they looked like they needed binning but I thought I would wear them once more for old times sake.. OMG they fell apart at work, like FELL apart. Have now packed spare shoes to tuck away in my desk drawer so I never get caught out like that again.  I thought because I was wearing patterned tights it might distract people around the office from noticing that I wasnt wearing shoes - it didn't!

Stranger things have happened!

I bought a bag that wasn't a Mimco, I know - I can barely believe it myself!  I have decided that the Alexander Wang bag I have wanted is to big and bulky, and I don't love any of Mimco's new range!  While I was wandering through David Jones the other day, I saw a stand of Marc Jacobs bags, it was a good opportunity to see them in real life and realise that they are not good enough quality for me to pay the kind of high end prices for a really good one.  But then I saw a cute practical bag that was made out of nylon not leather and had a couple of compartments that were practical.  It was $199, but I remembered that Marc Jacobs are sold on ShopBop and they were having a 20% off sale with free shipping over $100.  So I had a look and I ended up getting it for $135! Today I got my shipping notice, so excited :-D. Today it was a cold snap day, so I thought I might pull out the fur vest that I bought from Valleygirl - I also wanted to wear my animal print skater dress.  Paired together I would of made my mother proud, she loves some faux fur and animal print lol.  I don't think my Hubby was impressed.

BowerBirding....again

Have been browsing Lovisa and Colette Accesories in the hope to nab some more bargains after getting  the two $20 necklaces for $10 for both the other day!  NO sales at Colette, but Lovisa have some spot sales, got some more earrings because I can never have enough :-).  De-cluttering is going well, and I have done another cull through my wardrobe.  Ebay sales are going well, so happy with some spare change in my Paypal to do more online shopping :-).  Does anyone even go to the real life shops anymore? lol.  Wore my Iconic bird jeggings, my cute swan jumper that I got from Ally Clothing late last years on mega sale and of course, my Mim boots.  During my de-cluttering I pulled out all the Mimco duffle bags that come with purchases - I have an insane amount as you can see.  I may have to sew them together to keep warm at night, since I won't be able to afford heating since I spent all my money at Mimco! I heart my Marc Jacobs watch so much, so glad my awesome Hubby got it for me.  I think I may need another one for Mothers day ;-).

Dear China, please post things faster

Seriously, it is going to take a month to get all the things I bought from China on Ebay - and I bought a lot of things...boo hoo.  Unlike ASOS, which comes from the UK and only takes 5 working days to get to me!  So I will soon have my new skirt and gloves - only $12.50 each whoo too.  I think I have enough gloves now as well, so I think all I have to do is wait for Winter now. We are having weird days, one day cool, one day warm.  Today was cool, a top of 16 degrees.  I struggled on the first cold snap day with my corporate wardrobe oh oh!  Lucky it was Friday so I went with an Ally floral skater skirt, my big W turtleneck (Big W has such rare amazing finds) and ASOS tights and my new ASOS trench.  Hidden surprise - Trench coat has polka dot lining - awesome!! Still have a massive ASOS bag waiting to check out but was disappointed by my skorts showing up and being way to small (and short!), resold on Ebay and bought this ASOS skirt and a pair of green gloves.  I was disappointed when unpacking my winter vacuum bags that my glove collection was not that great - both things were $12 :-).  p.s never bother buying Mimco gloves - biggest waste of money ever they were!  Though my Mimco scarves have been awesome :-D.

Blinded by the Emerald

Could by resist this Cotton On jumper, it's a Kenzo rip off but I do not care, I love the emerald and the puppy on the front! Had a 30% code so it was $28, I also bought this lemon long sleeve shirt which is perfect for layering in Winter ($20) and then I decided to get this Emerald shirt as well ($17.50), this reminds me of my slouchy favourite One Teaspoon shirts that I have never been able to find replacements for.   They arrived pretty quickly!  The jumper is gorgeous but so not fluffy and warm will need to layer lots under it!  The yellow shirt is a bit hard but looks great and the Emerald shirt looks great and I might wear it tomorrow :-D.  Wore an ASOS dress to work that I thought was a bit $$ at the time, but now I love it!  And my ShoeBox cheap blue shoes and my new ASOS map of the world watch, super cute watch!!
