The awesomeness of Gifts with Purchase

I never buy the big brand name products unless there is a Gift With Purchase (gwp) promotion on - Estée Lauder, Clarins and Clinique all do them. I've had in my wish list from Clinique - the black honey dual gloss and lipstick and the chubby stick lipstick. I have had the black honey lipstick on and off for about ten years, its true what they say about it - its a classic colour that suits pretty much everybody!  I havent had it for ages though so was well overdue for a new one.  I also really wanted to try the chubby pen lipsticks as I had heard rave reviews about them.  Myer's recently had the Clinique gwp promotion going on, so I purchased the dual gloss and the super strawberry chubby pen lipstick - both are awesome and I think I am hooked on the chubby stick lipstick. The gwp was an awesome haul, I got a great lipstick (rosette) and all about eyes which was the pick of a pretty good haul.

I recently ran out of my small Nars Orgasm in Multiple.  I bought this as part of Xmas pack two years ago that included Luxor and Laguna.  I went into Mecca Cosmetics to buy some more but couldnt commit to the $79 for the large Multiple.  But I love love love Nars Orgasm, so when I received an email from Mecca Cosmetics that offered free shipping, I had another look online and found the Love Rite set.  The Love Rite set includes the Orgasm blush in illuminator, two blushes and two lip glosses for $98.  I did get excited briefly when I got onto ASOS and found the set heaps cheaper, but of course when I went to purchase it, I was informed that the product could not be shipped to my address (POO).  I dont know why makeup is SO much cheaper overseas and not here - very frustrating!  but anyway I went forward with my purchase as you do when faced with no other option.  I am now on a makeup and skincare purchase ban as I have taken advantage of alot of generous GWP options and am now stocked up for about a billion years.

I need a keyboard!

Writing on the Ipad is really really slow. I am a fast typist so to have to finger tap i out on the Ipad is frustrating. I decided to buy a keyboard for my Ipad. Jb Hi Fi has an awesome range and I ended up getting a Soniq one for $69,95. It has a stand in it so you can stand it up so its kinda like a laptop, and its blue tooth so it has no cords. On of the reasons I have become slack at blogging is because of how slow it is to tap out my blog. So far the keyboard hasn't exactly facilitated more blogging, its clunky to use, but the more I am using it the more I am getting the hang of it. I am about to do a huge essay on the Ipad using the keyboard so wish me luck! If you want to use documents on your Ipad, I highly recommend the app Pages. I also put my documents in the Icloud so I can access them on my laptop, Ipad and even my Iphone, its awesome1

Ally, Cotton On, Erin louise and Supre and Hilla Toppa

The latest shopping binge goodies! I already have four Erin Louise singlets, but was tempted into one more. It was the 'gone dotty' singlet that I have wanted from the start of when I discovered Erin Louise: http://store.erinlouise.com.au/index.php?product=SN00036&c=33.

Cotton On had 30% off instore, but I couldn't find the tops I wanted in my size anywhere so I saved myself forty bucks there! I did pick up the cream cable knit jumper for $28, I always wanted one of these so very happy with that purchase. I then wandered onto Ally and picked up the heart shirt that I wanted for ages as well. You could say I was doing a chain store crawl because I stopped into Jay Jays to get a heart cardigan before ending the trip at Supre and getting purple jeggings. I have to out a disclaimer on the jeggings, I thought they were jeans they look like skinny jeans they are thick material, so comfy! But then I decided I might want to buy a jade pair as well and lo behold, when I searched the website I discovered they were listed under jeggings!! They look like skinny jeans to me so I will disregard Supre's mistaken labeling of them as jeggings LOL.

My last binge purchase was from Itunes - Hilltop Hoods latest album. I actually had credit on my account from the giftcards that I buy at discounted price so technically this was free ;-).

Jessica Alba - another style stalker post!

Jessica Alba is an awesome fashionista. There are other blog posts confirming my stalker love for JA. Here is yet another example. I'm loving that I have baggy boyfriend three quarter jeans like this, a heart jumper similar to this one and sparkle ballet shoes whoop whoop.

Style Files

I am still in the middle of a restyle. I'm also in the middle of a shopping binge which needs to stop soon because we are about to start serious saving for our renovations. Bambi cardigan from Ally $29.95 - I didn't need another cardigan but I love cute quirky things :-). I did resist the swan jumper at Ally, as definitely did not need another jumper. An emerald pair of skinny jeans and a pair of purple ankle jeans - they were two for $60 from Jay Jays. I also picked up two headbands and these swallow sunglasses at Equip's two for one sale. I've wanted these sunglasses for over a year, but I thought they were a but cheap but now I don't care. I love then lol. I also love the Ally shirt that I picked up the previous post, i think I'm nearly done with my style revamp! I keep thinking I should grow up and upgrade to country road/witchery wear but I'm still not really feeling that kind of wear. Although I will never go past Cue for my corporate wear (miss you Cue!).

Pretty Tights

I do however squeeze in the time to shop! As previously blogged, I'm really feeling a style change and I've shopped my wardrobe and not much in there that I can revamp. So I did some shopping and picked up a purple waist skirt from ally $29.95 as pictured. I love the heart shirt paired with it but its not instore yet. I bought the collared white leopard print top from Ally to go with the skirt but it doesn't work properly - it makes the outfit look a bit schoolgirl! However the top goes with alot of bottoms in my wardrobe so I'm loving it. I like that the collar makes a casual outfit look a little more formal. I also am seriously lusting the big yellow necklace from Lovisa after seeing a similar one worn by Jennifer Hawkins, unfortunately it's $40! No way I'm paying that so I will have to stalk it to see if it goes on sale. Also on my wish list are these colored tights from Rubi, I have so many tights it's not funny, and now I live in the tropics I can't justify buying more- but they are only $5....
