Seeking motivation

I need the motivation to do things with my hair other than a) blow dry straight or b) put in a bun. Was chilly enough for tights today, eek :-). Lovisa necklace, Sportsgirl top and Dotti skirt.

Cute but not practical

Bought this cute fox satchel off EBay for $8.66 including shipping. Completely not practical but to cute and cheap to resist! Outfit for today was floral jeans (and white ones no less lol) from Cotton On and and Owl tank top from Dotti. Havaianas got worn, they are on the countdown for getting stored away for next Summer! Toes were slightly cold in them today..

In house hair styler?

Maybe I can just hire someone to do my hair everyday (or teach my daughter to do it,hmm). All about the layers today, Zara spotty shirt, dotti skirt, Ally jumper and Asos jacket. And the Dotti boots that I love and make me envious of the real Chloe ones.

Sunny Easter Weather

The weather is beautiful still! New Zara leather skirt with sandals and my Dotti heart jumper :-). Really wanted a leather skirt (Sportsgirl have some nice ones), but got my Zara fix with embroidered leather skirt, also bought a beaded eagle shirt shown in these google pics - too funny what you can find on google ;-). No more Zara until New York as the price difference (Aus vs US) is ridiculous!

The leaves are turning

At least the advancement of Winter involves the prettiness of Autumn! Downloaded a wardrobe organising app in the hope that I can do some organising..you know whenever I get time to upload a photo of my ENTIRE wardrobe into it.... Look of the day is my cute cheap Ally shirt and Cue skirt and poor old Novo shoes that are barely hanging in there!

Bought one more coat for winter, $50 from ValleyGirl - I think my Winter collection is now complete and waiting for action!look of the day is sportswear, my Nike leggings, Adidas top and my new ASICS. Though running after my baby comprised of most of the exercise done in this outfit....

The awkward moment when..

The awkward moment when you find a gorgeous fur vest the day after you just bought a gorgeous fur vest! oops, luckily I tried it on and the cut was not as nice as the one I just bought.  Because there is no way I can justify TWO fur vests, unless of course this one goes on mega sale and then maybe..lol http://www.jeanswest.com.au/gloria-faux-fur-gilet.html.  Look of the day was Veronika Maine skirt bought ages ago in DJ sale, its a tulip skirt and I love it.  A Mim bag of course and a random bangle - trying to wear all my bangles now that the warm weather is coming to a close.  Just realised the other day, that bangles must be SO out of fashion - haven't really seen one in Lovisa or Colette Accessories for ages.

A furry vest

I have wanted a fur vest for ages, nearly bought one last year but I still lived in the tropics so couldn't justify it. Now I live in the super cold I can totally justify the purchase! One fur vest courtesy of Valley Girl $35, perfect. I'm a bit worried about outfit ideas so have been madly Pinteresting outfit ideas.

US shopping fever

 I am trying so hard to be good and save for shopping in NY.  Was very hard today when I went into Zara and wanted to buy the whole store.  Restrained myself to one $29.95 shirt.  ZARA and H&M are only about ten minutes away from our NY hotel...must be good and wait, must be good and wait! Or find a good parcel forwarding service.....  Finally got to pull out my Dotti playsuit I bought on sale before Xmas, it probably wont see the sun again until next Summer :-(.

Got super glue?

I have two pairs of shoes waiting for superglue to re do their soles. Today my beautiful Sportsgirl shoes that are 9years old and in perfect condition decided they would join the superglue line up. Also pulled out one of my old Colette Accesories bags, they are actually cute bags but an awkward bag handle length for also holding a baby! Old Sass and Bide jeans as well lol, so old they are boot cut! Am tempted to but the Amazing Face app from Zo Foster (Blake), $4.49 is a bit expensive though when our not sure what you will get... Though her Amazing Face beauty book is really useful.

Rainy day

I chose the right day to wear my favourite work pants, they kinda matched the rainy sky! Because I couldn't get a blue nail polish in DIY gel nails, I decided to just use a normal polish and test out the Orly flash drops I got in my Lust Have It box. I usually use Sally Hansen rapid dry and that seems a bit better than the Orly. Did a terrible paint job on the nails as well whoops. I think I might buy some Gelish DIY polish if eBay and give that a go as they have a huge range, unless they get recalled for an odd vague reason as well...http://www.gelish.com.au/product-range.html.

Mimco rewards

Love The mimcollective rewards program! They gave me $20 with the purchase of my boots, the points have a short time span to use them in though. Today I thought I would get online to see what was on sale at Mimco and found a super cheap beauty case and a coin purse - both things I actually need :-). Yay, $37 was what I ended up paying for both after my rewards were applied - and that includes $10 postage. Have to get the bottom of my boots sole protected though which costs about $25 but really saves the boots from scuffs and extends the wear. Btw, that is not in me in the pic - googled it to get a good pic of my boots ;-).

I was excited to read: http://shrinkingwallet.blogspot.com.au/2013/03/lust-have-it-march-2013.html to see what to expect in my March Lust Have It box.  I really needed some makeup finishing spray and eye cream, but as the mix it for subscribers I wasn't sure what I would actually get.  I ended not getting those two products, but I got a Mask and some Orly flash dry drops and some colour crayons for eyes and lips - all good products.  Hopefully I will get those other products in a future box.  Their designer box is really cute as well, though I was a bit lost about what I would use it for as its so cute yet impractical - baby clips!  So now they are my baby's hair clip storage boxes,lol.  Look of the day includes the Big W $25 polka dot jumper I bought when I couldn't get the $99 jumper I wanted at Country Road!

Lucky I don't chew my nails!

I went to Priceline to buy another Luminail (DIY gel nails) polish, only to discover that Priceline have deleted it due to a product 'they disagree with'.  The sales girl assured me it wasnt a toxic product and there was not need to worry...WTF.  :-(. I did some googling, but nothing came up about whatever is wrong with the Luminail products.  Look of the day is my Country Road polka dot tights, OMG I love these tights they feel so luxurious and warm, 9 year old pair of Zu buckle shoes, Valley Girl button skirt and Big W turtleneck, Colette Accessories bling earrings and and old Guess watch and zebra bangle.  p.s Monday's at work suck!
