New shoes and Jewellery project

Target have a new range of shoes, but they have also upped their prices!!  For me Target full price flats should be about the $16 range and you can usually guarantee that there will be some kind of sale where you can probably pick them up for $10.  I rushed in to Target the other day looking for a pair of pink ballet slippers after I hurt my back and had to give up heels, and I found the perfect pair except they were $20.  Of course this can still be considered a bargain, but not for Target (sad face).  I bought them despite still being annoyed for paying that much at Target, they are so cute and already I have got heaps of wear out of them!
Pink with gold studs and black bow tie.  These seem like good quality, Target actually have quite a few nice flats in at the moment.

New Weekly Star Style magazine.  I dont actually buy NW,  it hasnt been my kind of magazine for a few years, however when I spotted this in the supermarket I decided to buy it.  It was $5.00 and basically is bit like Shop Til Ya Drop but without any real articles in it.  It does feature heaps of bargain and budget buys and an ASOS 15% off code!

Jewellery Project continues!  I love turquoise and have a quite a few pieces in this colour.  these are two turquoise bracelets - one from Lovisa and the other one was a gift.  Necklace from ASOS, this was a bargain - only about $5 (I posted about this previously when I purchased).

Bikinis and oops pretty shoes

I was way to excited about the prospect of Summer and promptly went out an bought two bikinis!  Technically they are four bikinis, because they are reversible.  And considering how much my hubby spent on my Tigerlilly bikinis - these are a bargain!  Cotton On have a fantastic range at the moment, actually most of the cheapo stores like Valleygirl and Dotti have some great cheap bikinis.  These are the ones that I picked up, I had to get a size up because I have a major baby bump - and the tops are a bit of a squeeze but they will do for my backyard pool :-):

I must of been on a shopping high, because after I purchased these I walked around the corner to Novo shoes and impulse bought two shoes (but they were 50% off the second pair).  I have not impulse bought anything for a long long time, so nearly had a heart attack when I actually realised that I had spent $95 on shoes that were not a prearranged/thought out purchase!!
Luckily I had no buyers remorse, these heels are perfect!  I have been looking for a pair of bootie style heels for over a year, I wanted them in black but they only had the light pink.  Now I am glad they didnt have them in black because I have so many pairs of black heels and these pink ones are so lovely.  The light coloured heel make my legs look longer as well :-).  Also they are super comfy for heels!

These glitter black flats are awesome for work/casual/going out.  I couldnt get a nice pic off the Novo website so had to take this dodgy pic!  w ith the discount these were $25.  I have spotted these shoes in silver and black at Target for $30.  Target are really annoying me at the moment with there massive shoe prices hike!  They are now nearly on par with normal retail shoe stores with their pricing.  So annoying because I am loving their new range as well, but I just refuse to pay those kind of prices.  Hopefully they will still have their random awesome bargain sales where you can get Target shoes on the cheap.

How to's for the How do I

There are of course a million youtube videos on how to braid hair, http://www.primped.com.au/ have some great how to videos as well. This one from Nicole Ritchie's blog for a side braid is pretty good as an example of styling but no good if you are starting out in actually learning how to braid: http://www.nicolerichie.com/2011/09/how-to-create-a-side-braid-with-andy-lecompte/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=how-to-create-a-side-braid-with-andy-lecompte. Though it did make me laugh when he said dont worry about it being messy, the messier the better and implied that you should try and ruffle it up - I cant braid very well and it definetly doesnt need any extra ruffling up!
